Kyra Wayne

Kyra Wayne is an IT Software Engineer, and a developer of full-stack automation solutions for Cisco’s IT services since July, 2017. Outside of her normal duties as a developer, Kyra is also semi-finalist in the Innovate Everywhere 4 challenge for her contributions with UberCloud (a crowd-sourced cloud solution), an IT Roaming Reporter for two years running, where she captures video content and documents the experiences of Cisco’s customers and leaders in IT, and is often called upon for side projects in design consultation, and more. She graduated from Santa Clara University in June, 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Web Design and Engineering, and a double minor in Computer Engineering, and Studio Art.

Before joining Cisco, Kyra has instructed young developers attending the Digital Media Academy summer tech camp, worked as a Resident Artist for a large, Global 500 beauty conglomerate, and as a Product Manager and UI Engineer for a female-led start-up. Kyra’s passions have always been design, education, and engineering, and she is happiest when she can makes use of her skillsets in all of these areas.

Kyra is a remote worker, who takes great joy in being surrounded by nature and her family in the Pacific Northwest. When she’s not mentoring or teaching others, or working hard on a new web app for Cisco IT, you can find her painting, performing onstage, horseback riding, throwing the ball around for her dogs, or hiking a trail!
